Mansi has feelings, and sometimes she doesn’t know exactly what to do with them. When things go south, her mind races to react. Maybe she’ll start to huff and puff and cry with rage. But is that always the best action to take? In "Mindful Mansi" we experience daily life through six-year-old Mansi’s eyes. With Mansi at our side, we can all learn to act instead of react--to pause, breathe, and choose to be the best version of ourselves--even in the toughest of situations.

Thoughts from Mansi's fans
I like to see children be given the message that it's good for the brain to make choices at times when inner emotions are strong. We build more positive brain chemistry that way. It's like going to the gym for a healthy brain! |
The words, message and the pictures are such a treasure. My daughter is so used to routines and gets upset when things don't go as expected. Mindful Mansi has a beautiful message with the chant that she can use in situations that are not in her control. Every parent of young children and school library will benefit from having this book. |
I love how the book follows the whole day and the obstacles that arise and shows a better way to navigate it by pausing, acknowledging feelings and then taking more skillful action. |

Mindful Mansi was created to help address children's mental health through mindfulness.
Authors Shaarika and Aubrey were raised in households following Hindu and Buddhist traditions, and recognize the power mindfulness practices have played in caring for their mental health. By planting the seeds of self-awareness in young children, we hope to help inspire a world of more compassionate and mindful human beings.
Our journey with Mansi began with a team of talented women at the University of Washington Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship. Our goal was to empower children with awareness, respect, and compassion for themselves and others. We thank our alma mater, our friends, our mentors, and you for supporting women entrepreneurs and artists! |
